It’s summer! The season of popsicles, beach days, and memory making. But here in Jacksonville, it’s also the season of unbearable, sauna-like heat. The only place you want to be between the hours of 10 AM and 6 PM is indoors with air conditioning. Every parent with a toddler is facing the same problem: what the heck can I do with my kid to beat the heat?

It’s too hot for the park. The library doesn’t allow for much running around. Besides the pool and beach, it can be hard to find activities that won’t leave you and your toddlers in a miserable, sunburnt puddle of sweat.
